What's Under the Tree for Ainsley?

Here is the low down of what we got for little miss' first Christmas, we only got her toys because I buy her clothes whenever she needs them so it seemed silly to spend more on that. Before we were parents, we made a decision that we would not have a ton of toys for our kids and that the toys would inspire self-play and imagination. So far, we have been good about this, keeping a small number of things for her to play with. As she gets older, I am sure the quantity will change but the principles will still be present. Plus her birthday is only a month later, and don't worry, the planning has already begun, so we did not want to overload on the number of things. For this year, it will be more about the ripping of wrapping paper and less to do with the number of items under the tree, enjoying it while we can!

Little Tikes Tap-a-Tune Drum for her to bang on, thankfully they are on the quiet side

Little People Disney Princess Pack - We actually bought this Black Friday 2012 when I was preggo for a steal of under $10. If you know us, Disney runs in our veins so we thought this was too cute to pass up.

Mega Bloks First Builder Set -  We snagged this on Black Friday online for $9.99 and I think she will love stacking, she is starting to show interest in things like this.

Mickey Mouse Plush -  We got this on sale when they had buy one, get the 2nd plush free or basically 50% off. She already has a Minnie that she loves a ton so we wanted to round out the pack. The 2nd plush is saved for Birthday!

Melissa and Doug Shapes Puzzle -  Snagged this on sale and with a % off coupon so I think we paid $6 and it is great to see how she likes puzzles.

Fisher Price Classic Xylophone -  Music, rainbows, and something B and I played with as a kid? Total given!

And because I cannot resist posting a picture, here are my two loves...
