Da Beach!

One of the big reasons why we were so excited to move to Houston was the allure of being near a beach again. Growing up near so many in California, we did not realize we would miss the coast as much as we ended up while in landlocked Colorado. When we got here, all the locals would poo-poo the idea of Galveston, the water is dark and the sand isn't white. I don't know where those people go to the beach but it sounds like California beaches! We went on Friday while B had the day off and we enjoyed it thoroughly. Ainsley was very skeptical of the water and sand but we think that once she gets a little bigger, she will love it as much as we did. I made a little picnic and we ate it on the beach, such a nice and relaxing day!
