Strawberries and Cream
This might possibly be the easiest dessert ever but it is always satisfying and yummy. With Spring finally peeking out of Winter's shadow, we have started to enjoy this. I know this is ridiculously easy and barely even a recipe but this is really what we eat sometimes!
Strawberries and Cream
Serves 2-4 (depending on how hungry you are)
1 cup whipping cream
1/2 cup sugar (granulated or powdered
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 carton of strawberries, rinsed
The easiest way to do this is with a stand or hand mixer. I have done it with a whisk and my own elbow grease but I would not suggest it. Add everything except the strawberries and start at low speed and work your way up so it doesn't fly everywhere. Beat until soft peaks form and scoop into serving bowl and surround with strawberries or whatever fruit tickles your fancy or is in season. Enjoy!
