Twas the Morning of Christmas
Christmas was pretty nice and low-key this year and I felt very blessed to be with my loving and handsome boys before my awesome in-laws arrived. We woke up early, unwrapped the presents, I made some Breakfast for everyone, and we just hung out and ate for the rest of the day. Below is the dealio!
This is a game B used to play as a kid, Monopoly Express, and has been looking for it for a couple of years. I found it on Ebay for a steal!
Now I can use my stand mixer and not have to scrape the sides!
Best Lollies of all!
No idea... But I did straighten my hair!
Scottish Shortbread for my Scotsman!
Holla! Fancy and huge CrockPot - already used!
The obligatory Christmas Sweater - this year was a purple one - FAN-CY
Oh SNAP! I am super lucky to get a Le Creuset 9.5 quart Dutch Oven. Oh and in my favorite color!
B's big gift this year was a vintage Cuckoo Clock from Germany's Black Forest. It is so awesome with a little birdie that sings and then the little people dance every half hour. I will post a better picture soon!
The Coroner arrives!
Susie with her favorite gift, every year she wants a Starbucks card - at least she is easy to shop for!
We got the Coroner a book on Whiskies and a new Scotch for him to try - he likes it, so success!
I think B was hangry and sick of me taking pictures! I make Pillsbury biscuits with homemade sausage gravy, scrambled eggs, and Susie made a yummy fruit salad. It was super tasty!
Aww - grandparent love!
Highland Santa watching over our food and Scotch!

Ended the evening with dinner - roasted pork loin with Spicy Cranberry Chutney, Stuffing, and Roasted Potatoes. Yay for frozen Thanksgiving leftovers and Costco deals!
