Lighting Up Our Holiday

Sorry for the impromptu blogging vacation, we decided to fully enjoy our time off so that also included not getting on here! I also wanted to forward some information on my Dad, he has been diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia and Liver Failure. With this development, B and I really wanted to make sure we enjoyed our time together, just us and the family we have near. When something like cancer hits a family, it really changes dynamics and perspectives. We thank you for your thoughts and prayers and ask for them to continue, every day is a struggle for him and our family as we cannot be all together.

I will be putting together posts on our Christmas, New Years, and tons of recipes, I have not been sitting around you know!

A couple of days before Christmas, we went to the Blossoms of Light at the Denver Botanic Garden. B was lucky enough to win tickets from his work and we were planning on using them with my parents during their visit. As you know, the visit did not happen, but we were lucky enough to get the Coroner and Susie to join us, it was quite special and we also hit up the Bagel Deli to celebrate Hanukkah!
