Chicken and Dumplin's
You cannot beat a good Chicken and Dumplings dinner and you totally push it over the awesome edge with the use of your slow cooker. This is a perfect dish for a cold day and you don't feel too horrible because it is loaded with vegetables.
Slow Cooker Chicken and Dumplings
Serves: 6
Ingredients
2 cups cooked chicken (or turkey) shredded or diced
1 can Cream of Mushroom soup (Campbell's of course!)
1 can Cream of Chicken soup
2 soup cans of water
4 teaspoons All-Purpose flour
1 chicken Bouillon cube, broken up
1 bag of frozen mixed vegetables
1 can corn, drained and rinsed
1 teaspoon black pepper
1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 can refrigerated buttermilk biscuits (8 large biscuits)
Directions
Mix all ingredients, except biscuits in the slow cooker. Cut the biscuits into quarters and gently stir into the slow cooker mixture. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hour. Enjoy!
