Winter List

Sooo, now that it is the unofficial start to Winter, it is time for a new list! It is not as long as previous ones but I think we had Brain Farts when putting it together. I also apologize for putting this up before the Thanksgiving re-cap but I am too lazy to load pictures!

Winter List

. Christmas Décor - Christmas-fy the house, already done and pictures will be up shortly

. Waldron Visit - My lovely parents will be visiting for Christmas and we are very excited

. Nuggie the Kitty - a standard

. Dirty Girl Scouts - the best holiday drink - hot cocoa with Peppermint Schnapps thrown in

. Bake Cookies - I am baking a couple of different types to give out, an annual tradition

. Peppermint Bark - Also being included with my holiday cookies

. Christmas Music - Already pumpin' on my playlist

. Mickey’s Christmas Carol - Another Annual Tradition

. Holiday Party - We are having B's company party at our home and I looking forward to trying some new hors oeuvres recipes

. House Christmas Lights - We got them for the first time and the house looks so festive!

. Shovel Snow - Actually did that yesterday, thankfully we are getting a good amount of snow this year

. Snow Day - Crossing our fingers for one soon!

. Oklahoma - We are going to visit my Grandparents for their 60th Anniversary!

. Christmas Cards - All ready, just need to mail them now!

. The Nutcracker - We are going to see a local production and it is much more affordable than the Denver Ballet, like 79% off! Totally worth it.

. The Bagel Deli - A local joint that looks awesome, gimme some latkes and Matzo Ball Soup!

. Millionaire’s Shortbread - B's absolute favorite cookie - shortbread, covered in homemade dulce de leche, and topped with three types of swirled chocolate. One word - DECADENT

. Final Vaccination - My last stinking Chicken Pox vaccination that is not bueno.

. Make Fudge - Making Rocky Road Fudge as a part of my holiday baskets, yum.

. Kiss at New Year’s - Aww! Not promising it will be at midnight, I cannot stay up that late...

. Paint Console Table - I want to paint our table a lovely and surprising shade, I will share when it is all done!

. Wrap Presents - I am kind of the master of wrapping and I enjoy mixing it up every year

. Eat Candy Canes - Yum!

. Homemade Gift - I am making something special for someone special!

. Bookshelf - Finishing up some furniture searching

. Christmas Pictures - I love Christmas and I am hoping I can wrangle my Dad into taking some nice pictures of us

. 25 New Recipes - A pretty standard one and I am already well on my way to getting there. I love cooking and trying new things!
