Laboring Weekend

I hope everyone had a wonderful Labor Day and weekend, we love our long weekends 'round these parts! B and I did our usual fun activities for a long weekend - shopping for groceries, taking naps, going to the mall more times than we would like to admit, watching and finishing LOST, haircuts, and wait for it....

Painting!!!

It seems like we are always painting and we are two walls away from being donezo in the entire house. Can I get an AMEN?!

We repainted the dining room because as our first room we painted when we bought this lovely casa, we chose matte paint and little did we know, if you get dust on it, good luck cleaning it off! So we repainted it almost the exact same color with more know-how, paint and primer in one, and in a awesome satin finish.

We also painted the kitchen, I always thought beige was a little bor-ing so I wanted to switch it up. So we decided on a color for the adjoining family room and decided on a lighter shade of the same color for the kitchen. It's a little gray, little brown, and a little purple because we are royals up in this joint!

I totally love both rooms and I am glad they are done with for now. We have some other house projects up our sleeve so I will be posting on those soon too!
